Haha, I like the bullhorn idea! I got a new cordless drill auger adaptor and new blades and a new 4ah battery for the cordless. Got lots of battery power now for drilling holes ( and work of course ).

Santa left me five one hundred dollar bills to put towards what ever I chose... As well as the usual socks and underwear.... Now Mrs clause was very excited last night and made me unwrap her... Lol. I will put most of that money towards jigs as I noticed we were down to 3 or 4 hundred only..lol. Some people collect things and i collect jigs... Can never have to many jigs... Hope Santa was good to everyone this year.. Merry Christmas..

My son gave me a book titled "Reinventing Gravity" with a note: "Please read so you understand that fat old guys CAN'T fly!!!" I almost wet my pants laughing. I'm never going to hear the end of this.

Santa wasn't to shabby. Wind river t-max winter boots -60 comfort rating and the 2 piece rapala spud/chisel bar I hinted to the wife a month ago lol along with some warm clothing for this season. Just about everything except for the 6-8 inches of ice to laker and WF grounds.

I got my very first flasher this Christmas. It's an LX5. Went for a drive today to collingwood and there is no ice to be seen yet anywhere. I guess I'll just have to keep turning it on in demo mode to keep me from going insane till the ice forms!

My fish finder was my early Christmas gift but I still got a couple Bass Pro gift cards, CT gift cards and an HT bucket seat cushion, amongst other non ice fishing things.

Sounds like everyone has had a good haul so far. I was very fortunate this year to receive a rahfish the sort and 2 hats. I also got a 5l propane tank with hose for my big buddy the shirt. I also got a sweet Bluetooth speaker that's waterproof for fishing.

It's a very exciting year for me ice fishing wise.
Got my first hut (Frabill Bro Insulated) that I just tested this Saturday and it was awesome - so nice to be shielded from the wind. Got a Mr. buddy heater, got a floating suit, ice chisel, ice picks, ice cleats , a new sled, Milwaukee Hammer drill cordless Strikemaster Lazer auger setup,Marcum LX-7 Digital sonar and a bunch of lures...
I guess I was either on the very top of the "nice" list or I completely lost my mind spending a ridiculous amount of money to keep the demon inside happy.
Tight lines! Alex
P.S. I started the season on Saturday with a nice 25inch pike and a small walleye in 4 hours of fishing as the wife gave me a deadline to be back but boy I enjoyed the time on the ice - bonus was meeting with Macfisher and his girlfriend
