It's a very exciting year for me ice fishing wise.
Got my first hut (Frabill Bro Insulated) that I just tested this Saturday and it was awesome - so nice to be shielded from the wind. Got a Mr. buddy heater, got a floating suit, ice chisel, ice picks, ice cleats , a new sled, Milwaukee Hammer drill cordless Strikemaster Lazer auger setup,Marcum LX-7 Digital sonar and a bunch of lures...
I guess I was either on the very top of the "nice" list or I completely lost my mind spending a ridiculous amount of money to keep the demon inside happy.
Tight lines! Alex
P.S. I started the season on Saturday with a nice 25inch pike and a small walleye in 4 hours of fishing as the wife gave me a deadline to be back but boy I enjoyed the time on the ice - bonus was meeting with Macfisher and his girlfriend
Awsome! Alex, glad you got out.The Auger didn't work? Those Walleye firsts feel really nice!!See you there one day soon!

Hey DB,
I purchased the auger on my way back home - LOL The one from the last few seasons had dull blades and I didn't want to stress the drill
