High winds today aren't helping the ice at all, the south end of the bay looks to
Be mostly ice covered but it's only frozen out about 300ft in Keswick by rayners road.

Took this photo of a guy out fishing off the dock at rayners road about 30 minutes ago, open water not to far in front of him, hopefully he gets off safe!

After the warm up we have good ice making weather in the forecast! Merry Christmas

If going on that best go a lone... rather one go in instead of two. A second person won't help much once in the water too!

Went to check ice today. Was about 500yds north of Krates Marina and was finding 9" near shore, and 4" almost 75yds out. Ice felt very solid but was mainly white ice. As many of you know it is very shallow in this area so even at 100yds out I was barely in fishable waters and was on 3.5" of ice. Ice needs just a little bit more cold weather to be good and harden up nicely.

Drove by today, saw 6 huts out at Glenwood Beach park. Didn't go out to check the ice, but its a good sign.

Wife and I were out on Cooks Bay out from glenwood beach. There was around 7" of ice where we set up (+-700 yards from shore) I didn't do very well but my wife did!!
