My brother and I are fishing there today. The ice along the shoreline is still soft for about 3 - 4 feet out. Past that and you are on thicker ice. We are catching small perch in 13 feet of water and it's 8 inches thick. I hope this helps you out. Tight lines.
Thanks drive2fish ... appreciate it . Haven't fished it in a few years . Would love to get back on it and catch some fish . Maybe see you at out on the lake

Thanks for the replies! I ended up staying a little closer to home and got skunked for the second day in a row!!
I like to think if I had actually gone to Stoco it would have been different. But my good friend always makes fun of me for saying "you know what we should have done".

Anyone on here fish it for Pike?
I know it has pike in it but I wasn't sure if it was a waste of time to target them or if they can be found in decent numbers.
Feel free to pm me if you would prefer!
I was on the lake Dec. 29th 2016 and noticed pike below my hole on my underwater camera. But they were not biting at all. Lots of perch around it as well. The food was plenty for the pike but nothing hi unfortunately. Going to head up again in February and try.

I was actually thinking I may give it a try the first weekend in February. That's the next weekend I have available to me.
Let me know if you're going to be out there by chance.
