Hi Guys,

New to the forum. I moved up to Seagrave last year and I live on the Nonquon river. Due to the winter we had last year I only ventured out on the ice a couple of times on my snowmobile and did not really get the lay of the land. I drove out to the mouth of the river this morning on my atv and didn't see much life on the lake so I turned around and headed home. I noticed last year that there is a big pressure crack that formed from just south of the Nonquon across the lake. I have heard that this crack forms every year. Im assuming that everyone is fishing south of the crack. Is there any good fishing north of this? Also, atv ing and snowmobiling on the ice are two different things, I don't have studs so it's th atv in these conditions which I feel less at ease on the ice. Is the ice fairly consistsntt? Is there any problem areas that don't freeze well that I should avoid?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks
