GEORGINA ISLAND, Ice Formation

Smolt Trout Group: Members Posts: 137 Member No.: 4898 Joined: November 27, 2013	Good morning to all, I am not from your neck of the woods and fish this area periodically. I was wondering if the ice has formed from the mainland to the Island yet? Regards, Doug

Adult Trout Group: Members Posts: 243 Member No.: 8268 Joined: January 13, 2015	This was last Monday ..itwas about 3-400 meters from shore..even seen a guy out 30-40 meters spudding,but that didn't last long..I've seen it out that far twice now but it's broken up in the wind.. Not sure how much it's advanced this week or if it broke up again

Adult Trout Group: Members Posts: 243 Member No.: 8268 Joined: January 13, 2015	Yup,activity out there today..thought there was a hut out already when I pulled up,but noticed it moving around awhile later..not a sled or a quad,can't make out exactly what it is..might be the operator in Virginia getting organized..a walker was also heading out dragging a sled,he looks to be setting up now..looks like it's been windy,patchy snow and plenty bare ice Should be a busy weekend..

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 327 Member No.: 12463 Joined: November 03, 2016	I have no idea how safe it will be Im going to guess 3-5 inches now,but im not sure I wont be going out till next weekend,there are a couple above zero days coming,but the cold nights should make it alright for next weekend for me Dont go by what i say,i dont need someone going through cause i stated an opinion
