Was out on tudhope today, caught 7 keepers. Never really heated up just the odd one here and there. Got there at around 9:30 and walked to about 3/4 of the way to the green marker. One guy set up right beside it. Ice was roughly 4+ clear and about 8 inches total. Snow was a little deep and some slush under it made it difficult for walking. Lots of snowmobile tracks too. About 10 other huts out there too!

Bigger ones were a little wormy, just picked them out of the meat.

Wow No worms in them maybe a good sign. I notice most of the perch caught on Couch have worm, I guess it is alot shallower and warm lake than simcoe. Nice haul guys....

We always hold our fillets up to a light to get the worms you don't see..

I live on Couch and rarely fish it.However when it comes to perch my advice is throw the perch away and have a worm fry! LMAO

Those look like some nice juicy ones. I'm heading to cooch on Saturday. Hoping to find some safe ice and wormless perch lol

I've been fishing Cooch for almost 3 decades, and I have noticed that the perch caught from the north end of the lake seem to be a lot less wormy than from the south end. Of course, they're easier to find in the south end of the lake, and access is a bit better too...
