yes I had 4lb trilene ice line...lol its all I use...I had a video of the fight but can't seem to find it...go figure...it was about 5.5 mins for that particular fish...there are bigger in there too....tight lines all, gonna try a stab at some local perching tomorrow since I get it for a stat lol

The point is, if you check Ontario MNR fishing regulations, on Lake Simcoe cisco/herring is GAMEFISH which you can catch and keep up to 2 (if you have a sport licence or 1 otherwise, and if season is open). But in some other zones, cisco/herring is baitfish which you can use as BAIT.
