After fishing on Lake X X this morning with a buddy he gave me his freshly built rod caddy. He is in the process of building a new and improved one as we speak but I thought I'd share the one he gave me. I added a little Tupperware basket in the middle once I got home. It is perfect for keeping my rods at the ready while out in the hut and it keeps them off the snow and ice. Super handy little organizer. Just made with pvc pipes and gorilla tape and a few small screws.
P.S. We only got 8 perch this morning it was a finicky bite to say the least!

This an exellent idea i am rather tall and in constant fear of accidentally stepping on a rod. Gonna have to build one.
Yup one of the reasons I love it! Also when other people are in the hut less danger of them stepping on one too!
Exactly , some of us started with a gad and spool line plus hook and sinker . The best is in the hands of the fisher . Protect your stuff you use on the ice . This easy at home ready to build is great . I'll tell ya . Icefishers have developed more in last 20-30 yrs then open water lads . More Icefishing specific product .They developed lots and still do but icefishing went crazy .... Very cool . Using your own two hands to make something easier to icefish is good . Thumbs up

Not really, in the 5 gallon pail they get banged up and damaged!
Yes and the hooks and lines get all tangled together in the bucket if I put 3-4 rods in it. This keeps my 4 rigged up rods for the day tangle free, dry, and easy to access. Also a decent drying and storage rack for back at home
