i just got back from fishing simcoe. glenwoods road park access. there were about 12 pop up huts. lots of activity today. lots of sleds rippin along the ice. i measured ice at about 4-5 inches and then 2 more inches of clear ice at the bottom of that. got a few small ones . one keeper. and about 5 jumbos who made attepts at my bait but no luck. i was using the vibrado and slab grabber. silver was the color they seemed most interested in today. they just watched jigs . no interest. the fellas over from me were hitting them though(jumbo's). they had minnows. i didn't tomorrow will be another day...

if you get there early enough. about 8 spots available. plus the road across the street has parking allowed on the right side. about 12 cars and trucks were parked there. ticket free
