anyone want to come out tomorrow?, heading to keswick with 2 others.

Hey everyone.

i bought extra bait, and have 2 extra rods set up. Im heading out on keswick to cooks bay.

anyone want to tag along or if anyone else is planning to go, feel free to pm me.

also I am taking 2 very new people to ice fishing. and I myself am not an expert. we have all the safety equipment except for float suits.

but does anyone know if the ice is sketchy or not? I dont have a spud bar but every 25 m i am drilling a hole.

has anyone been out on the keswick side? is it too sketchy for 3 people to set up a pop up? planning to walkout 300 meters.

if I dont see people on the ice I will be sure to stay off.

I was there on Monday and there was plenty of ice and a lot of huts on the ice. People walking, lots of snow machines and a few ATVs. Very shallow part of the lake and only caught some little perch. But it was an amazing day so just make sure you have a parking spot that dosent expire after three hours or you might get a ticket.

be more spesific the bay is a good size and the ice thickness is not the same through out

I walked out onto Cooks Bay yesterday from Keswick. Ice is approximately 9" I also saw a pick up truck driver onto the ice from Glenwoods . I wouldn't worry about setting up 3 people in a pop....good luck

is tomorrow being monday. I'm looking to get out, via honda side by side where iin keswick would i launch

i was thinking beaverton. but if i went to keswick where do i park and unload side by side. I've only fished out of beaverton cause I'm coming from caygeon
