Got a new toy! Rapala vortex auger

Mom surprised me and got me a rapala vortex 33cc gas auger. What mix would you guys use? 50:1?

Once you’ve acquired new fuel for your 2-stroke auger, you’ll need to add new oil to that fuel before putting into your engine’s tank. Use a quality brand of oil and mix it at a 40:1 ratio – 3.2 oz. of oil / 1 gallon of gas (Metric = 50:1 ratio - 100ml of oil / 5L). Don’t add more oil than needed.

Nothing against you ripley but that website is incorrect. 50:1 is 50:1 and 40:1 is 40:1.

Muskyaaron, it looks new. If so, read the owners manual and follow it to the letter with a good quality synthetic oil and premium non ethanol fuel.
