it makes me wonder why anybody would buy a l e d screen in this province lmao.

I went from a flasher to a LCD sonar/GPS unit. The flasher was great, but there is really no comparison. The new unit outperforms my old marcum by a landslide, and that marcum was an excellent unit. I wouldn't go back, and the unit that I'm running has bouced around on the handlebars of my quad while being used as a GPS, as well as being rattled around in a sled when ripping across the lake on our snowmachine. Never fails to fire up, and offers the option of flasher, graph or GPS. Too each their own!

If I wanted to listen to an eggbeater I'd get a flasher, I like the quietness of an regular graph that has history.

Just turn the heater up and you won't hear the flasher! Lol
My brother keeps telling me my flasher makes too much noise. It has help me catch a lot of fish so I don't mind it as much.

In my opinion I'd get a flasher but both will work. One of the guys I fish with has a sonar and I always catch him looking at my flasher to see if its picking up his lure!

I'm relatively new to ice fishing, have the Ice-45 and it works perfect in every scenario I've been in. My only issue is that another guy I fish with has the same unit and sometimes I spend a good chuck of time messing with the settings to get rid of the interference.
