With the west side of simcoe not frozen I am looking for somewhere close to come to drop a quick line, get rid of the itch for a few days.

I am aware there is a fishing derby at this pond in the summer.

Anyone heard of anyone icefishing at the Tottenham pond? I have read of it having some bass/perch/sucker.

For those that have, do people keep fish out of there? I would only be looking too keep perch

It's actually a good little warm weather pond. To be honest, I've never considered ice fishing it but I don't see why not.

Largemouth, black crappie and perch. I've never personally eaten anything out of there but it is actually a relatively clean pond. E. coli is under control and I can't recall if I've ever seen algae blooms. Could always harvest one and see how they are for parasites etc...

Good luck if you go!

Steve
