10+ years ago I used to go with an operator out in Port Bolster. His parking for the customers was on the ice. One day it got a little warm and rain like mad. When we got back in all our cars were a foot in water. I drove a sedan at that time and was not happy with having the car wet the way it got. Being young and trusting an operator was my fault. Now I take ownership of what I do and where I go. The operator became great friends and I talk to him more now then I use to when I fished with him.

One reminds me of a meet and greet when Shane put his Tonka in a pressure crack. Or when he put the truck in at Sibbalds. Lots of memories with him. RIP.
