I bought a Fladen suit a few years back, it actually worked out being cheaper than the mustang after delivery from Europe. Also, I found it didn't bunch up like the mustang. They use them on the North Atlantic. Now, keep in mind, they are not coast guard approved in Canada, but they meet or exceed ISO standards for flotation and hypothermia.

I have a one piece mustang and won't fish without some kind of floater again. Zip down half in the Hut, usually long sleeve tee and long undies under is very warm

Looking to get into some type of floatation suit. I was hoping to get into a full one piece mustang integrity suit. Yes they are pricey but will last a lifetime. I am now looking into floatation bibs as an alternative, but feel like this will just buy me time before getting into a onesie Was hoping for some feedback on your experience. Thanks
PS. Day one yesterday produced my first fish of 2017. Just a little pike but I'm on the board
I've got a Salus floater coat for sale on the buy and sell. I've had a one piece and the bib/coat is the way to go if you can afford new. Convenient when you get warm and want to remove a layer- sitting in a hut with a heater all day or early March when it starts to warm up and you just want to remove the coat. Convenient when you "gotta go". I'll never go back to a one piece.

Had a one piece for over 20 years. Sure it was safe, but huge pain in the can when fishing in a hut, and they are less maneuverable than a 2 piece imo. I bought a striker suit this season. It's quite the outfit! I really like it, but not cheap!

I got the guardian as I want to wear it in the spring or fall as well. I wore just the jacket on Thursday while fishing steelhead, and I was warm as could be in all that wind. I was glad I didn't go any heavier. Very comfortable suit, I wore it tobogganing with the kids yesterday as well!

I had all of these questions earlier in the season aND was lucky enough to be watching the board when another member offered to sell his one piece mustang suit. Best investment ever. Even if you do have to spend retail.
I have a one piece mustang suit and I love it. Check kijiji.
