Anyone know how the ice is in the beaverton area? I keep hearing mixed reports.

People did fish today. I did not hear how they did or how much ice they were on. I will hear tomorrow morning and I will update here.

Ice is good, but lots of cracks and ridges. Also the sound of the ice out in 20 fow makes you think a pressure crack is gonna open any second... lots of creaking and cracking.

Out by the perch grounds was 5-8" mostly white ice, usually 2-3" of clear and the rest was white but most of all no crazy ice sounds. Lots of pressure ridges along the way though if your not near the shore.

There's already a path from snowmobiles and atv's beaten down, it runs along the shore line. I saw in total 7 pop up huts most of them using snowmobiles and atv's.

This pic is in 10fow over the perch grounds no action today. I got there around 2pm fished till 430.

I spoke with a couple people that fished mccreas shoal yesterday, out of Beaverton. They said they cut 6.5 inches and did well on the perch. They are heading back out there again today
