Was out with my son today from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. The place we fished still good. 11 inches ice just have water on top and a bit slush. We play with the tiny perch until 4:30 then the first Crappie show up, my son use 1/16 tungsten jig with Wax worm, I use rattle spoon with plastic. Have lots of fun, baby Rock Bass, Blue Grill, Perch and a 5" Catfish. Most of the Crappie is around 6-8". We only keep a few.

Island Rd? Which part of Island Rd? The ice should be ok tomorrow too, same as today water and slush, BUT, better to wear survival suit and pay extra caution if you were not experienced on Ice Fishing.
