Main Lake Ice Conditions, Has the main lake frozen over yet

Any word on the main lake freezing over in the past few days ?

I'm watching the ducks swim around here at big bay point

I checked out a few spots over on the west side yesterday afternoon while visiting a buddy who just moved to Lafroy. To be perfectly honest with you, it was pretty depressing.I say couple more weeks for the big water.

With Kempenfelt Bay being skimmed Yesterday I say we're still doing okay, Last year Kemp Never froze until the 21st of January, I'm not by any means saying it's safe there YET, but it's coming fairly soon might be sooner then you think, these temps are really tightening things up Lot's of Ice in a lot of places.
