First Pike of the Year.

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 437 Member No.: 12767 Joined: December 31, 2016	Today was a good day for me out on cooks bay. thanks for the tip ( and pictures) i got from greenbaypikehunter, i was able to bring up 3 pike. i was unable to get out with him yesterday. 2 of them were about 25 inches, but those two came after i brought up the 34 incher. 20 minutes after first setting up. he hammered my rapala ratllin'rap. one of the 25 inchers also hit the rapala. the other hit my slab grabber, orange bead. going back out tomorrow, solo tuesday also, with greenbaypikehunter.

it was about 11-12 feet. only a few perch came around. i only managed a small one. they seemed a little hesitant. i think it was because the pike were lurking around.

saw many of them zip by my lures.
