Hi, I am staying in a home on the shore in Belle Ewart the last weekend of this month. Never fished Simcoe and excited. Wondering how far out to get into a decent depth. Or maybe someone could point us in the right direction to another area. Were focused on perch. Any suggestions would be appreciated, BK

Good perch spot. Your going to have to drive around in your area. Look for a parking spot and walk out among the crowd of fisherman. That will be the tell tail sign of your good location. Belle Ewart is a very good location for perch and not far from shore.
Killarney Beach, Little Cedar.... good all around there.
No people....don't go. Easy rule. Might mean the ice is not safe yet.
