I know a couple seasoned buddies who are in a floyd hales hut right now. 25 FOW, NO PERCH.

Couple years ago I was renting huts every weekend and Hales was by far my favourite for all things, including fishing. Sometimes the fish just don't co operate!

Yes! We definitely heard the ice cracking, a little unsettling at times

Too bad that you got nothing.

I just got my Recon5 and I'm excited ! Can't wait to try.

Better luck next time !

You are going to love it! I think you will find that the movements are sensitive when panning right to left, i might get one of the camera tripods that has a dial that allows for steady viewing and better control of panning.

Would you know which hut number?

My buddy sent me this picture, he had much better luck off of VB the other day. They walked out and setup a pop up, fished for about 6 hours.. pretty good haul!

That day the barometer plummeted to almost off the chart and for the most part it was a tough fishing day all around....They would look, but not touch.

Been going to Floyds for the past few years now. Fishing is fishing, sometimes there on and other times there off.

Booked for next Friday, hopefully the perch cooperate by then.
