Date and location would be a good start.
I think around the anniversary date of this forum is a great time. Closest weekend to that date is Feb., 11th/12th. Area with perch, lakers and whitefish is Jackson Point. Operator there does offer taxi service but I am not 100% they do on weekends or that day. Price is high for the service but you can always use your feet so do not complain. If ice is thick enough truck access to the lake is doable for those who dare.

Fish4dinner you beat me to it, but I was going to say the same thing. Instead of having a vote on location, like in years past, pick a date and location and hope that it works out for as many members as possible. Is there somewhere at Jackson's point that could host a large number of people? I was thinking Innisfil Beach park as you're kind of in the middle of perch/laker/whitefish areas. I don't know if any meet and greets have worked in the past, but if they did what was the turnout like number wise how and long did people stick around for?

Just a thought but if we cleared our schedule for two consecutive Saturdays then if the first Saturday had to be changed only due to weather situations it could be moved to the next following Saturday... Possibly an option and if the following Saturday's weather sucks then the hard core guys could still go out.. Weather on the day will make or break the turnouts IMO... Good weather will have a good turnout and bad weather a pour turnout... Just a thought out loud.. Lol

If there's something I could help with, my schedule as it stands is nights and it's not a long shift so I'm free most days for any leg work to be done. As for organizing, Im limited to my iPhone but i have adapted to using it for all my networking. Just PM me if you need me.
