With lots of posts about good ice throughout cooks bay, I was wondering if anybody can give a report on the ice around the 6th line/Innisfil area? I saw people were out on Gilford, so wondering how it is a little farther north. I took a quick skim through the forum so I'm sorry if I miss any posts on the subject. Driving up on Monday, hoping for some good ice!

Forgot to mention, send a PM if you don't want to share publicly. I will be driving up regardless, and looks like I am going solo, would be nice if I didn't have to drive as far north for no reason though. I just saw that 9th line operators are opening this weekend so maybe 6th is good to go too?

I am just back from IBP and it looks like someone tried to walk out there this AM or yesterday and didn't get anymore then 40ft from the launch and turned around. Looking north east from there, not far out it's wide open. Was also down at 7th and it looks to have some open pockets among the forming ice.

appreciate it guys. I knew the chances probably weren't great but a man can dream right? Maybe by Monday something good will happen but if not there's plenty more ice elsewherw to try out my new spud (currently in fabrication)
