Hi guys,
Started the day renting a hut with Casey's this morning. Was set up in 20 fow. Stayed for half a day but it was real slow (for me anyways). I did manage 1 nice ciscoe about 16" (pb) but dropped him before I could get any pics. Neat spot, have never fished that side of the lake before and they have a cool operation. Sadly only marked about 6 perch and couldn't get them to bite.
Decided to do some driving and see what else was going on. Drove round to IBP. Not a person to be seen anywhere but at least it was frozen. Didn't have my floater suit so just looked from the car so no update unfortunately, but if the regulars aren't out there then neither am I .
Finished the day up with a quick stop at Gilford on the way home to see the hut city everyone talks about. Lots of people out fishing away. Ice was around 5" mostly black. I started in 26 feet and worked in to about 10 feet. Again only marked 3 or 4 in a couple of hours, not even a nibble. Talked to a couple others on the way out and they said skunked.
All in all a rough day out but got to explore some new areas and hope I can get on some active ones soon.
