Hey guys.
I've had week long plans to go out of Beaverton tomorrow. Looks like 20+mm of rain expected over night and showers throughout the day.
Any ice reports on what this will do to the ice over night ?
What are conditions like today ?

I did purchase a Salus jacket but would like to avoid having to test it.

Any experice with these warm temps would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Hey gordie, I was out this morning with a buddy about a kilometre south of the pier in Beaverton. We had to turn back because of the 1-6" of water on top of the ice. My buddy's boots aren't made for water that deep. Operators huts were out there, my spud bar wasn't going thru so I think the ice would be fine for walking out. Just really sloppy on top. Have fun if you go out.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm gonna sit this one out. Try again on Sunday.
