Snake island is one of the last perch areas to get ice. You should most likely be fine coming up to Simcoe for next week, but should look to rebook with an operator out of cooks bay, virginia beach, port bolster or beaverton, these areas have all already had good ice for some time whereas snake island, jacksons point and others are back at the starting gates after the last batch of warm weather and high winds.
