Finally, I got my truck today, arrived the lake around 2:30pm, walk out with the spur to check the ice, the area is good, then went back to the truck to load up my Clam one person flip over, tow it like nothing on the ice. Start playing with the Helix 5 DI for an hour then switch back to the vexilar, I think I didn't set up the Helix right. 1st fish is a 2lbs Large mouth, release it then playing with Perch and gills until 4:45pm first 6" Crappie show up, off and on until 5:30, lots of 8-10" good size arrive, lost 3 big one, finish at 7pm. Only keep 2 good one. So happy having a good day on ice.

Beauty. Glad you kept only what you needed for the day. Sounds like a good trip all around.

I love fishing for Crappie, fun on a light action rod with 4lb test. Hope to get out on Chemong this weekend if the ice tightens up enough to be safe.

Ice is still good but maybe have water on top after all the rain, try to figure out how can I go this weekend again, my son is going to take the truck to Blue Mountain. My wife's mini SUV is too small for my stuff.

Usually the back seats drop down 60/40 style my wife has a 16 accent hatchback and I "could" fit my sled and gear in with the seats to the ground. Although, I do enjoy sex so I tend to refrain from that option.

Hahaha. Even my son told me it will fit too. He said he will show me after work tonight.
