I'm planning on heading out tomorrow morning as well. Does anyone know the ice conditions? Just planning on walking out. The perch fishing was decent during the day last week and the crappie bit is usually right around sunset. Good luck!

We are meeting someone from scugog rental at the port bolster marina and going from there we are going from 11- 7
Port Bolster marina is located at the southern part of Lake Simcoe, it's more than half hour drive from there to Scugog. Make sure you are going to the right place.

Got out on the lake tonight. Still 10-12" where we drilled our holes. Pretty sloppy out there though. Saw a few holes opening up where the water ontop is running down. Still safe but wear cleats and good rubbers. Managed to bring home a good feed of crappie and the biggest perch I've caught on scugog to date. Here's a pic of the perch (12") and the biggest crappie of the day.
