Was planning on heading to Gildford tomorrow, although with all these skunk reports out of there I think I will head to VB or Keswick. Ive heard theres horrid parking at Keswick and they are ticket happy there, seeing as I wont be using my car I would like to stay away from that area. Whats VB like?

There is a lot of parking in vb. The problem is you may have to walk a long way (1 km) if you don't get there early. I hear they are catching lots of fish there.

Can you please be more specific as to where to park? I've never been in that area. I might give it a try tomorrow.

virginia beach is where the ferry crosses to Georgina island. Theres a parking lot straight across the street right beside the restaurant. Probably 50 spaces there, then there's the ice parking lot if your willing. Parking is $10 daily max, Ice is free.

I will be paying the 10$.... If I put my parents car through the ice there will be hell to pay lol! If I was driving my truck up id think about it lol. Thanks, one more question, where can I buy minnows? I know Caseys is in PB but would rather not drive all the way to PB then back to VB.... Any shops closer?

there are two places to buy minnows at virginia beach. Both Daves Fish huts and Ice Fishing Outfitters sell minnows. Both are located at the access point.

If your coming from Toronto I recommend Toronto outdoor store. They're open real early and lots of different size baits small to the size of a herring lol . And like mainstay said the launch has the operators there and they sell minnows.
