Slab Grabbers rig, How to question

Going out on the VB area tomorrow for the first time this year and going to try out a slab grabber.

Anyone using them for perch when you rig them up do you have them as the only hook on your line or do you find it better to have an additional hook up higher? If so how high do you place the hook?

Not sure about the second hook. But one things for sure the pike love them!!

make sure you use a swivel when tying the slab grabber.

it has a nice flutter to the bottom. once it hits bottom. jig it up about 12 inches from bottom.

rinse and repeat.

I haven't caught with one yet but I think it's a confidence thing. I usually start with old trusty Williams and a dropper to grub. Works well for me

i have good success wit slab grabbers, still havent landed a pike wit one yet but hopefully i do tomorrow

The pike loved the slab grabber today. Had three one caught one and seen a bunch. Then I got a parking ticket😡

I still can't seem to find slab grabbers. Been to 3 canadian tires.
Slab grabbers seem to work like magic.

My local CT's don't stock them, but some local fish stores do. If you check out the slab grabber website they have a list of retailers.

Your best bet would be the local bait shops around simcoe or some of the hut operators on the lake.You'll find them there for sure.

My first time using a slab grabber today. Caught a ton of Perch on it. My pal in my hut caught a ton of Perch on a small spoon beside me. Funny though we only got them to hit either with a minnow head on the hook.

Is that ticket an invasive species.? If so, get rid of it.

I bought my slab grabbers at the ct in keswick. There were quite a few of them all different sizes.
