Slab Grabbers works excellent without any additional atractors. Just the plain SG on a thin fishing line ... and that's it!!

Great lures I have a few in different sizes. I fish it without anything and I also tip it with a grub or minnow depends how fishing is going and also tie it to a swivel or I find it will twist your line if you don't......

They work great don't they finek. I find they work best if you don't stop jigging, make lots of action.
Nice pike 👍

Thanks Sugit.
Contrary to your suggestion I keep jigging to minimum. Dead stick is the key to got to the big ones.
After retrieving the lure from its "run away", when the line is hanging vertically I'm giving predators the time to make their mind.
Small fish just nibbling the bead, sometimes swallow the hook. Big fish - swallow the whole thing and you can see it observing tip of your rod. It will stand in the same - bend position - for a longer while.
It is difficult to use Slab Grubbers where you have some vegies on the battom. But with some experience you can deal with it.
Graet weapon. Great weapon!

Thanks for the reply's and suggestions from everyone.

Went out today, but the fishing was slow overall. Lots of people out on the ice in the VB area.

As people had mentioned jigging then letting it sit worked best for the bigger fish. We did get enough for a nice dinner tonight. I look forward to trying them again sometime later in the season.
