I warned you guys YEARS ago that once you show this guy how it is done...he is going to out fish the lot of us!!! HaHaHa!!! Nice going Xiaolu. Good thing you are a skinny guy and can walk on ice that thin. Us guys with the extra "ballast" need about TWICE than much ice before we are comfortable. We will meet out there soon.
haha. well, if I tell you the ice ground I fished today was like a zoo, you'd think (or believe) all the "animals" are as skinny as I am:-)
My measuring tape never made it that far and I nearly p##### myself when that ice quake happened..

oh year, like around 9:00AM this morning there was a big "earthquake" on ice, the whole area around where I was fishing was moving and shaking like there was no tomorrow, and I thought I was about to fall right down to the bottom of the lake;-)!

I'm very jealous. The one weekend I had to work and kbay is fishable lol I still enjoyed the porn though
Yeah. After tomorrow (Sunday) we might have to wait quite some time before we can get back to the deep water ice ground (if we could again at all before this ice season ends)

Yup felt the same... never felt shacking like that before. Around 12 we also had an ice shift from west to east. Felt like we moved forward a few inches. The ice shift was much worst as I was on the edge of my chair and I thought I was falling in. My heart skipped a few beats.

Awesome catch there James! A few of my buddies and I were supposed to have gone up that way for some whities this morning but I didn't feel comfortable with the thickness of the ice and I ended up talking my buddies not to go there! We ended up at Cook's Bay and only got dinks. I know my buddies were not impressed with my decision but I'd rather er on the side of caution than to have to deal with an unpleasant issue...... Now, I know! But next week's weather will definately keep ME off the ice in that part of the lake. If my buddies still want to go, it's THEIR decision! Nonetheless, a very nice feed you got!

Thanks!
It's cold enough today and tonight, so I'd say tomorrow (Sunday) would be a good but last day on that ice ground before we could get back there again any time soon;-)
