Hi, just wondering if anyone can give a report today after the nice cold temps last night and today? Hoping to go out tomorrow to IBP or maybe Beaverton. Have never been to Beaverton side before. Is there parking easy to find? Thanks in advance

I didnt go on the ice this morning in Beaverton, but it looked like most to all of the surface water has frozen again. Parking in Beaverton is free and there is a lot of parking spaces on the south side of the river. Not many people parking on the ice yet.

Thanks I appreciate the info on Beaverton. I'm not a fan of on ice parking Lol so if we head there we will park in the solid ground.

I was at gilford beach Monday, ice was 3-4" of black then a couple inches of white on top.
That was before all the rain though, also fishing was the worst I've ever had on simcoe. Lol
Never fished there for perch before, and I was the only one out of a group of 3 who caught a perch.
Sightfished all day and saw 2 dinks, one of which I caught. lol

Was out of gilford again today five inches of ice out deep and about 7 inches real shallow in about 8-9 feet. Not a lot of perch today in the shallow waters but still managed to bring home four

First time fishing simcoe today, out of Gillford. I went out just to kill a bit of time(almost didn't go at all as a buddy slept in) there was still about 5 inches deeper and 7 near shore. I had one dink and one big hit I missed looking at this forum, to see if I was doing something wrong. No one around me seemed to be getting hits. Hope everyone had better luck then me!
