Got out today brought the sled out to the perch grounds in beaverton, ice was all clear and 10 inches thick for those wondering plenty safe for now as long as you don't venture out past the huts. Fishing was extremely slow marked 2 fish and neither bit. Fished for 4 hours no catches....oh well. Hitting scugog tomorrow morning hoping for better results. Be safe and enjoy the ice while it's good!

We roamed all over the place today off Beaverton and couldn't find the perch. Four guys, two huts, at least 2 dozen holes between the group anywhere from 16 to 30 fow and we marked only a handful between us, one fish on the ice all day. It was unbelievably slow. At least the one fish was caught by my nephew, the kid won the day! Haha
