i went up to sandy bay cottages! This has been my 15 year and my dads 20th, put it this way if it wasn't great we wouldn't have went! Jeff put us on the fish and we caught plenty of walleye. Also for every walleye there was atleat 3 perch. The biggest walleye we hooked into (and got up the hole lol) was a 25 inch 12.1 lbs walleye. we also caught 6 bass all 4-5 pounds and 6 ling. Jeff put us on the fish and we had a nice fish fry every night and even brought home the ones we couldn't fit in our bellys. Jeff put us on the fish and overall it was a blast! recommended to all!

Congrats on a great trip!! Yeah, that weight is way out to lunch. My better half caught a Quinte eye a couple weeks ago that was a hair over 26" and extremely fat...weighed in at 8.5 lbs (which is heavy for a 26"er).

About 7 years ago my son caught a 29" male walleye and it weighed in at almost 9 pounds. So I agree with the rest of those who challenge your 12 pound weight. Nevertheless a beauty fish and glad you could share a real fisherman"s story with us.
