We too found the hogs on Saturday. Between Paul AKA the Perch Slayer and myself we took home about 25 jumbos each. Best day ever out of Gilford. I used a Slab Grabber all day and the Perch Slayer used minnow and small Jig Head. Even managed 2 Pike throughout the day. Hoping ice holds for next week.

All I can say is we were in 10 feet of water about mile and 1/2 straight out from Terry Goys huts. Found a hump 10 ' deep in the middle of 15 ' surroundings. Long walk well worth it. We were the only guys out there on 5"s of good solid ice. Have at her boys and girls. We were sight fishing and that made the big difference. Not to say they will still be there. However we will be hitting that hole again on the weekend if safe out there. Silver Slab Grabber with red bead worked best for me on dead stick and the jigging rod.
