Worm ALERT !

Hello everyone, Im new to the board. Glad to see that most people are helpful to one another.

Ive only ever seen worms in Catfish but mainly in summer. Havent really noticed any in Simcoe Perch.

Ive also heard that theyre are common in fish on Lake Couch.

I like the idea mentioned above of soaking the fillets in water and pickling salt.

Wondering if soaking them in Water and White Vinegar would be just as effective ?
Not sure how long they'd have to soak for however.

I think vinegar would cook the fish on you and destroy the filets

Caught 16 keeperw from couch only 2 had worms, picked em out. Just don't look for them once they are cooked and you won't even notice.

I check the gills for signs of worms when I fish couch before I call them keepers on couch.
