Hey Guys,
Im looking to pick up a couple new perch rods. One, maybe a bit longer, like 32-34" more general purpose perching, and another with a very soft tip, almost spring bobber-like, which very quickly transforms to fast action, medium - medium/ heavy mid section and butt, of about 28" in length. Can anyone make any specific recommendations along those lines?

For general purpose I like St croix premier UL or ML. For the longer rod I think tuned up custom has what you need, I think it's called a bullwhip. Will likely need to order from US though.

For perch you really only need is either UL or ML rod and for length I'd go with 28" you don't need anything longer than that for perch. I would to make sure you have a good reel. As for brand you can't go wrong with St. Croix, Fenwick, 13 fishing or #8 tackle. Also these brand make good combo pack. Check Bass Pro, Sail and Cabela's. Hope I was helpful....
