My son and I got out for the first time on sat on scugog and caught enough bluegill to last a life time but not big enough to keep(I think we were in the nursery school) and we only got three small crappies all day

You don't want it to show up as the ministry frowns on pictures of out of season fish. Hopefully you promptly put them back down the hole.
Cheers

We had fun but still want to get out to Simcoe to try and catch some nice perch so hopefully the weather turns cold again so we can try again

Keep your eyes on the forum. I suspect most perch grounds will be safe for this weekend if you guys want to get out. I'll probably be out there one day this weekend.

There's some big ones out there. Sometimes takes a bit to weed through the dinks

Thanks. Was a fairly successful day. Sick as a dog today though. Can handle -20 but apparently
The body doesn't agree with damp plus weather. Should've put the hut up
