Sunny or Cloudy?

Strictly talking for ice fishing and targeting perch. Do you have more success on sunny days or cloudy days? Or are you looking for other patters first like fronts approaching, stable periods etc? I always go whenever I can, but if you had the choice....

in my virgin experience ice fishing this season. i like when the sun is out.
it brightens up the water under the ice, like someone had just turned on a light switch.

not to say you cannot see down there on cloudy days. its just darker.
