Jumbos, Lots!

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 3126 Member No.: 26 Joined: February 10, 2011	Decided last minutes to hit up for some perch fishing with the weather being calm. Got on the ice when it was still dark and made it on our hole 45 minutes before any light from the sun was available. My buddy accidentally kicked his $80 flashlight down the hole 10 minutes after setup. First fish hooked up as the sun started to raise.... nice fat 11 inch perch. So we got picky and tossed a bunch of 10 inch perch back and tried to keep 11 inch plus perch. By mid day a 10 inch was considered more then decent. Pick up a dozen or more over 12 inches. Caught countless and none stop all day and kept 40 between the two of us. Will try to load GoPro vid later. That is enough perching for me this year! Bring on the LT!

Nice bounty! We saw many huge jumbos come in and out all day, but only landed 14, only 1 over 13", the rest 10-11". The really big ones would not commit!
