I am thinking of buying a Sheppell DX4000 and was wondering quality of this shelter. It would pull nice behind my quad and I can still get it in the back of my truck. Thanks in advance.

Quality isn't bad. My brother-in-law has one. He doesn't use much because it needs to be set up every move. Also, no place to store stuff. He and I both use the flip style now and love them.

Gear goes inside and then just sits in garage between trips.

I have one and i like it. the only issue is it is like a pancake when not set up, and can be hard to transport in vehicles. The windows are great in it, the carpeted floor and hole covers are nice, and they can be moved while still being up. They are not however too good in very windy conditions. better than popups but still not better than flipups. They are however a great deal lighter than flipups. You can drag a Shappell DX 4000 by hand out to your fishing spot no problem.

Thanks for the info. I like the idea that I can turn it sideways and fit it between the quad and side of the box. Just saves on pulling a trailer with the quad. As for room I fish mostly alone or have not more than two people.
