Had to go into Barrie this AM, so followed the shore around when I came home.
Lots of people out on Kempenfelt Bay from Johnsons Beach all the way back towards Barrie.
The first Pic is west of Johnsons Beach and looking towards it. You need to look carefully through the tree branches to see just how many are out there.
Pic 2 is Shanty Bay-Oro Line 2. People are out.
I didn't drive to the end of line 3 to see if anyone was out there, but I did go to the end of line 4 and there were 2 cars there and people fishing to the west of line 4.
Pic 3 is Oro Line 6 looking across to Big Bay Point. At least it is frozen over, but I don't think there is a lot of ice as no one was out on it.
Pic 4 is Oro Line 7, once again looking towards Big Bay Point. Basically the same as Line 6.
Pic 5 is Oro Line 9, looking towards Big Bay Point. Really the same as Line 6. Looking straight out from the 9th, about a mile out it is either open water or some pushed up ice. Can't really tell which.
Pic 6 is Oro Line 9 looking North.
With what is there, if we got some really cold weather it would freeze in a hurry as there is no snow on the ice. Not sure what will happen with the mild weather coming and it is not due to get really cold again until the end of next week.
