Good job wootang. Congrats!!
What is it you are preparing to cook/cooked in the Derricious picture?
Chinese style steamed fish with ginger, green onion and soy sauce! If you have a chance to prepare fish like this, it'll be a great alternative to deep frying plus - it's delicious! On another note I'll be battering and frying up the fillets of the little one tonight lol

I'm no expert but it's safe to say that it is definitely a numbers game. It is totally frustrating but the time and money spent is quickly forgiven and forgotten after you ice one.
Good luck!
I have shown my wife the price of perch fillets in the store many times to explain how cheap this fishing equipment really is. She still figures we are at at least $50/lb for the fillets in our freezer and that that number goes up faster with more trips to the stores than it goes down with trips on the ice.

Limit
The little fella in the picture looks like a Herring
Yea I had to take a double take as well when I pulled it up. Can't really see in the photo but it has a ventral sub terminal mouth meant for bottom feeding. The herring or Cisco has a terminal mouth that faces straight out.

I'm curious to know, what was inside of their stomachs? I think those are gusts pulled out in the second pic??
I found Gobies and vegetation in the stomachs. Was always taught to rip open their guts immediately to see what they were munching on and then offer your presentation accordingly!

That steamed way of cooking looks delicious! You mind posting your recipe? ^ months ago I decided to eliminate fried & deep fried foods. No more fried fish, sausages, bacon. I cook my eggs poached or boiled. Early August I weighed 216 lbs, today 188. Woo Hoo!
