Got out today at 7 with Meangene.Fishing was ok in the morning and slowed after 11 am.13.5 ft.Sight fishing for jumbos which was a first for me.Got a backache but it was awesome watching and learning.The true jumbos were far and few between and solitary fish,no schools of the big ones.The big ones would come to investigate and if you jigged in front of them -nothing.They would only hit if you swam it upward from them.Slab grabbers and buckshots with a red jensen egg did most of the damage.Kept 16 between 10-13 inches.Regards Alan

That sounds like a pretty good day! I had the same yesterday, getting the really big ones to bite was difficult. I noticed that even the smaller ones started to spook as the day went on, a lot of people noise. Now you can look forward to a perch dinner!

Nice job. Sounds like a great day with a meal of fresh perch. I site fish all the time and figured out if you fish in a flip over and drill a hole between your knees and another about 18" out farther you can watch the fish in the close hole and fish out of the far hole saves the back. For me anyway

I agree with you TAW, anything to save the back when seating more then a few hours, then feel when you get up.
