On Sunday friend and I went out on the ice in search of jumbo perch. The ice was good with about 5-6" in most spots, we caught many fish in mid range depths. I ended the day with a 15" beast perch, check out the video.

You had 6 inches? Where were you setup, I had maybe 4 at most closer in and about 3.5 in 40 FOW. Nice fish man, was also there but didn't manage to hit any real jumbos, got myself a nice 10 incher, the rest where 8-9. Only managed 8 fish for the 3 hours there, but it took me a little over 2 hours to find the fish at 40 FOW, nothing was shallower from what I found. If you don't mind, what depth where you at?

Thanks guys for the complements, for some people asking i started in about 20ft range and had some good success, then it slowed so I moved shallow to about 10ft. The schools seemed to move around and my friend and i got some decent jumbos, but the largest fish came out of 40ft of water. Hope this weather turns around !

That looks like the inside of a Recon. Nice light hut to take out but you need to use really short ice rods in them. Still....good value for the money. Nice perch.
