You can grab a pair of cheapies at the dollar store for $3 and they work fine. Used them yesterday for the first time......One slipped off so I just tightened it up..............

I bought a pair of cleats made by subzero for 17.99 from Canadian tire I put them on and walked out on simcoe today . While I was sitting there I heard a snap . It was the new cleats breaking luckily I had some electrical tape to wrap them with on my boot. I wouldn't buy them again . And no fish I got skunk but had over a foot of ice out from Beaverton .

I had a pair of cheapos once, didn't even have a spike at the heel. That's the first part of your foot that hits the ice, what do you think is going to happen?? Glare ice right now would be fantastic to get some colder temps to stiffen & thicken things up.
