Seeing the yellow p### on the ice always grosses me out too. Apparently I'm one of few that use a p### bucket.

Only reason for a p### bucket is if you need to sit to pee

And I agree all that garbage is unacceptable

It boggles my mind how many people eat the fish they catch yet pollute the water they live in.

Good on you for helping keep the place clean!

Where do the fish pee.... In the water, p###### on the ice wont do anything, kick some snow on it would be nice but either way, not gonna hurt no one. As for garbage, people should be ashamed they destroy the very fisheries they fish.

you should take a walk along the shore of canal lake in the summer, just before the bridge, and around the bridge. you'd think it was the dump.

sad to see.

Was fishing the credit river this year on trout opener, found everything from adult video disks to canon cameras, to oil jugs. It was gross, If I picked everything up id have never wet a line. Extremely sad to see the way its treated.

Those aren't real fisherman or women they are just a bunch of A-Hole that just go out and drink and don't care about anything or anyone and then you wounder why we get a bad wrap and saying we are pigs and they put up signs like " No fishing" , " No Trespassing" , " No Parking " etcs. There is always one or group of people that ruine it for all of us. You bring it with you and you take it back with you Not to hard to do. Anyways let's keep of lakes and rivers clean. Tight lines everyone and be safe out there...

I agree with the disgust of the garbage left out there, but to add to that I live in the rural area and when we go for a walk the garbage thrown out is unbelievable. And since most of the Tim Hortons have taken away the refuse bins at the drive thru the garbage has increased. Timmy cups etc. Also McDonalds and others. Many people are pigs.

Its shame that the people littering in / on our waters don't have enough courtesy to clean up after themselves. Its an even bigger shame that in this time and age,, people actually still have the nerve to do something so stupid.

They spend their hard earned money on all the necessities needed to get out there and enjoy tight lines ...... So one would simply be under the impression that these pigs would be smart enough to understand the damage it causes to this natural resource as well as how disrespectful it is to our wildlife and everything surrounding it.

Im glad to see that some people have the decency to lend a hand and collect the trash left behind by these people & good on you for posting it as well.

Making these actions known online helps !

so sad.
i no longer travel south of highway #7.
maybe some day i'll be able to say i no longer travel south of barrie - orillia.

but i don't even think that would matter nowadays....

I'm even thinking north bay is too far south. I wanna move to lake nip area but have even considered Thunder Bay now. I hate this kind of immature, irresponsible behaviour.

now that my son has gone back to live with his mom, and he is in his teen years now.

there is nothing for me here anymore.

I purposefully applied only to northern colleges and unis such as thunder bay, Nippising, Sudbury, and Sue Saint Mary.

i was talking this past summer with someone who has only been in canada for about ten years.

he has been all across canada. he just came from fort mcmurray after the fires.

he told me that he liked thunder bay the most, in all of the places that he has been. he said it was clean and friendly there.

which got me thinking..... only 108,000 population, too.

Good on you for cleaning it up bud. Filthy goddamm animals. When I see apple cores and banana peels left on the ice it still kinda pisses me off but at least it's biodegradable but I walked by a hole today that had easily a pack and a half of cigarettes worth of butts all soggy and disgusting. That picture you took though is just brutal. Good on you for cleaning it up.
