Snuck out of work just before 1 and on the ice by 3 Marked a bunch but couldn't get them to commit then a mark came and the rod loaded up. Ended up getting a 3 to 3.5 natural laker. Lots of marks after but not takers. Oh well off the lake by 5. Was a good hour and a half of fishing in my books.

Very nice, and good for you.
Now I wonder if ice on that whitefish and laker battle ground would stay/hold this coming weekend? And yes, yes and yes, I know I might be day-dreaming;-)

Ice was definitely softer than Sunday that's for sure. Also I had to chase the laker about 15ft as it started swimming away from me on top of the ice..
